Frechette receives
performance award
Dave Frechette of Boise, an agent for Farmers Insurance Group, has achieved the company’s highest award given to district managers and agents for “outstanding overall performance.” He joins a select group of fellow achievers as a member of the prestigious Presidents Council.
Presidents Council members will be honored at a conference in Maui, June 15-19.
The Presidents Council membership is attained by only a small percentage of district managers and agents serving Farmers’ customers throughout 29 states; 134 individuals earned the honor to attend the conference this year.
BLSA elects new officers for 2004-05
BLSA, the association for legal professionals elected new officers for 2004-2005. Serving in this capacity are:
• Mary Hainline – president
• Carolyn Puckett – president elect
• Brenda Knight – secretary
• Janene Hocking – treasurer
• Tina Myers – functional director of certification and education
• Melonie Robinson – functional director of membership and marketing
In addition, on the state level, IDALS, the association for legal professionals has also elected new officers for 2004-2005. Serving in this capacity are:
• Barbara Thomas (Boise) – president
• Jeri Rose (Boise) – president elect
• Hollie Roberts (Lewiston) – secretary
• Connie Bledsoe (Lewiston) – treasurer

Cline and Chaote receive promotions
SourceOne Inc., with headquarters in Boise and branch offices in Portland, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Minneapolis, has announced the following promotions to facilitate the company’s continued growth.
Erik Cline has been named vice president of the SourceOne Consulting Services division. He has worked for SourceOne for five years. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services including marketing, packaging and overall strategic direction.
James Chaote has been named the director of IBM technical services. He joined SourceOne in January with prior experience implementing high-end technology services at Micron Technology and, most recently, distributive database consulting.
Rissell recognized as ‘top performer’ ’03
Within large account corporate sales for Verizon Wireless, Matthew Rissell was recently recognized as one of the top performers in the nation for 2003.
With his sales reaching 231 percent of quota, Rissell was recognized by Verizon Wireless as a “President’s Cabinet” winner (the most prestigious award within the organization), and awarded a six-day, five-night all-inclusive trip to St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Rissell recently returned from this awards trip and is off to a great start in 2004 at over 200 percent of quota. He began his employment with Verizon Wireless in 2000 and has been the youngest large account corporate sales rep for Verizon – throughout the nation – since his advancement to that position in 2002.
Hazlett publishes pension plan article
Suzanne Hazlett, financial adviser with Boulder Financial Alliance LLC in Ketchum, is the author of an article on pension plans for small employers in the current issue of California Construction, a McGraw-Hill publication.
In the article, “Retirement Plans Have Become More Attractive to Small Construction Companies,” Hazlett discusses the ways that a sole proprietorship or a company with a handful of employees can set up a retirement plan with minimal expense.

3 new employees join ZGA Architects
Karl Eugene Woods is one of three new employees joining ZGA Architects and Planners, Chtd.
Woods is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional with eight years architectural and construction experience with sustainable design emphasis. He received his bachelor of architecture from the University of Idaho, with a minor in fine arts. He brings to the position project management experience in mixed use commercial and office buildings as well as skills working in various climates all over the Northwest.
Neil Daigle joins ZGA with project management and six years experience in health care, commercial developments, university and laboratory facilities. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor of architecture and minor in fine arts. He is working on the new Caldwell Family YMCA project.
Todd Adams is ZGA’s newest hire. Adams holds a master’s degree in architecture with an emphasis in historic preservation from Montana State University and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Utah. He comes to ZGA from Myers Anderson Architects in Pocatello where he focused on university, municipalities, health care and historic restoration.
Berryhill, Myers join Windermere Capital
Real estate specialists Amy Berryhill and Kristin Myers have moved to Windermere Capital Group.
Berryhill and Myers were both born and raised in Idaho. They specialize in North End and southeast Boise properties, working with both buyers and sellers.
