The three goals of the new Boise Young Professionals group were put on display for the first time when almost 400 people crowded into the Egyptian Theater in downtown Boise Oct. 24 to hear businessman and author Stephen M.R. Covey. It was the inaugural event for the group, spearheaded by Ben Quintana, with the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, and a committee of 16.
Like the future members of the new group, the committee is comprised of Boise professionals between the ages of 21 and 40.
“We don’t want Idaho to have a reputation like Florida, where you go when you’re older,” committee member and Treetop Tech chairman Jason Crawforth said in a video presentation to the group.
