In coming week, the Idaho Business Review will launch a massive overhaul of our Web site, www.IdahoBusiness.net.
We’ll feature breaking news stories, updated throughout the day, every day of the work week. We’ll also be blogging about Idaho business and politics.
But, most important, we’re crafting the site to be useful for you. Over the last few months we’ve talked to many of you about the Internet functions you need from us. We listened.
First off, our new site will be free. No user name or password to enter — ever. We may ask for your E-mail address if you care to receive regular updates, but you’ll be able to access everything on the site without registration.
Second, our site will be easier to search. We have a new search engine to better crawl our site and help you research the Idaho companies and businesspeople.
Third, the future of the site will be guided by you. We won’t be the all-knowing journalists handing down information from the mountaintop. Instead, we hope to be managers of information and facilitators of discussion. The people who visit www.IdahoBusiness.net will get a say in what they see every day.
How will it work? You’ll have to visit the site to find out, and to see all the other things we have in store.
Oh, and thanks for your help.
