More green than would be expected from garbage. A new $60-million ethanol plant will convert waste into fuel bi-products and building materials at the new Logite Bingham County Ethanol Plant.

The new plant uses a steam reformer technology process to reduce landfill waste to provide fuel bi-products and building materials, according to television reports. A major benefit is not having to bury household waste, which the county is currently having to transport to Mountain Home which should save an estimated $600,000 in waste disposal costs.
