D.L. Evans Bank on Sept. 4 opened a full-service branch office on the Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard east of the Karcher Road Interchange ramp, Nampa.

The bank acquired the property from the Zamzows chain of lawn, garden and pet supply stores. Zamzows built a replacement store on part of the larger parcel and sold excess property to D.L. Evans Bank.

The new branch is the Burley-based bank’s 20th overall and second in Nampa.

“Nampa is a large and fast-growing market for us,” said Executive Vice President J.V. Evans, who is based in Boise. “The first branch has been very successful in the two years it has been open” on 12th Avenue Road, “and the second office is necessary to provide the financial services that the community needs.”

Six employees including Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager Stephenie Hyer will staff the new branch, he said. D.L. Evans Bank plans a grand opening there early next month.
