More than 150 delegates from the Korea-US-Economic Council are in town today and Tuesday for the group’s fifth annual conference.

Gen. Colin Powell, former Bush administrator, is scheduled to make an appearance tonight at C.L. "Butch" Otter's ranch as part of the gathering.

Korean political and business leaders will meet with their counterparts from Idaho, Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington, the Idaho Department of Commerce said in a release.

The Korea-U.S. Economic Council is a private, nonprofit organization approved by, and registered with, the government of the Republic of Korea. The council – supported by leading Korean corporations and economic organizations – maintains close ties with the American business community in Korea, according to the Idaho Department of Commerce.
