Quintana takes on BVEP responsibilities (access required)

Ben Quintana has been named a director of Business Development for the Boise Valley Economic Partnership in Boise. Quintana, manager of the Chamber’s Boise Young Professionals (BYP) and former director of the Small Business Success Center, will continue to manage BYP was he joins the BVEP.

As director of business development, Quintana will meet with site consultants and real estate executives to bring new business and jobs to the valley. His role at BVEP will be to share information about why the Boise region should be on their lists for locating new projects.

BVEP executive director Paul Hiller said, “By adding Quintana to our direct selling efforts, it significantly expands our ability to showcase what our region has to offer. I have been continually impressed with his work at the chamber, and I know he will bring the same professionalism, enthusiasm, and high standards to our work in BVEP.”

Quintana has worked for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce for the past four years.  In addition to managing Boise Young Professionals he has also served as programs manager with responsibility for Leadership Boise and Leadership Boise Academy.

Last year, Quintana was honored as one of the Idaho Business Review’s “Accomplished-Under-40” recipients and received a Community Service Award from the Idaho Lion’s Club. Quintana is a native a Mountain Home, Idaho and earned a bachelor degree in Communication from Boise State University in 2003 and recently completed a masters degree in Organizational Leadership from George Fox University.
