Idaho sees lower totals for milk production, cattle on feed (access required)

Milk production, and the number of cattle and calves in sizable feedlots, dropped in Idaho during the most recent reporting periods, the Idaho field office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service reported.   Idaho milk production during February totaled 922 million pounds, down by 1.9 percent from the 29-day February 2008.
