Boise-based Treasure Valley Solar is now an “Elite Dealer” with alternative energy products supplier Earthsponse, enabling it to sell, install and offer maintenance contracts for a range of solar products, including water heaters and full solar electric packages for homes and businesses.

“Partnering with Earthsponse is a great opportunity to bring solar to as many people in our community as possible,” stated Treasure Valley Solar founder Bruce Saunders. “It allows me to spread the word that solar technology is on center stage today in Idaho.”

The company now offers EnerWorks, Kyocera and EPV Solar products, as well as energy audit services. Treasure Valley Solar employees recently attended a four-day training session at Earthsponse’s facility in Binghamton, N.Y., where they received classroom instruction and hands-on training in crystalline, thin film and solar thermal applications.

Growth in the demand for alternative energy products has moved in recent years from large-scale applications to more residential and commercial solutions, in large part with help from tax rebates and incentives provided by the federal government and now with support from the federal stimulus program.
