Job losses continue in construction sector (access required)

Construction employment declined in 333 of 352 U.S. metro areas from June 2008 to June 2009, and the trend hit several communities in Idaho, a recent report by the Associated General Contractors of America said.Idaho results included losses of 1,100 construction jobs or 22.9 percent in Idaho Falls, 3,000 jobs or 15.4 percent in Boise-Nampa, ...
