Boise State University’s College of Business and Economics is hosting a day of workshops and career development advice from Idaho business leaders.
Billed as a Leadership and Development Day, and slated for March 2, the event is geared toward Boise State juniors, seniors and graduate students.
About 30 local experts will be on-hand to offer seminars, workshops and break-out sessions aimed at giving students tips and training on topics ranging from crafting strong business plans, navigating new technologies and developing leadership styles, to banking, accounting, social networking and resume building.
Presenters include: Brandon Armstrong, V.P. for Business Development at Idaho TechConnect; Valerie Dickerson, director of marketing and business development at Synoptek; CEO Bob Lokken and Senior Marketing Manager Angie O’Hara, both of WhiteCloud Analytics; Ben Quintana, director of Public Relations and Leadership Development at the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce; and Joe Wallace, program manager at Microsoft.
The event will also feature a panel discussion from 10:40 to 11:55 a.m. on the topic “Different Paths in the Field of Accounting.” Panelists are scheduled to include representatives from Cooper Norman, Moss-Adams, Deloitte, URS, Wells Fargo and Boise State University.
Register for the all-day event online, or e-mail COBE-RSVP@boisestate.edu for more information.

Hi everyone
Well this is my first ever post on the internet.
Have been glued to this website for the past 2 days. Had got myself registered long back but never had the time or knew the value of the data available on this website.
Couple of days back i had some free time, so i logged in to check this website and that’s it, i haven moved out since then.
I have been crazy about moving machines from childhood days, so its naturally inevitable that i enjoy every single post and bet my contributions will be worth reading.
It is usually a great feeling to have just one like minded person in a new crowd you enter, but here it is truly unbelievable to have soo many people under the forum discussing awesome stuff.
Missed soo much of time. Tracing back here from its start and updating my knowledge on it…
Lots to read and catch up, lots to post. Lemme get started..
Look forward to ‘meeting’ you all, Dean from teen make money website!
