Frederick named R&D manager at Nampa firm

Teri Frederick has been named research and development manager at Great American Appetizers in Nampa. She will be responsible for product development, and will have direct involvement in new business development.
Frederick is new to Great American Appetizers but not to the food industry. Her experience as a food scientist spans nearly two decades and includes positions with Anchor/Heinz Frozen Food Co. and, most recently, McCain Snack Foods, where she served in the number two R&D position.

Oliver joins OEC team as a lead installer

Steve Oliver recently joined Office Environment Co.’s operations team as a lead installer. He joins the firm with 20 years of industry experience.
OEC provides furniture, space planning and technology solutions for corporations, health care, education and government entities.

Bridge City Legal adds Baxter in litigation support

Bridge City Legal Inc., a litigation management company, has added Aimee Baxter to its staff as a litigation consultant. Baxter will assist law firms, legal departments, and corporations with trial preparation, electronic discovery, and database management.
Baxter, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, has nine years of complex litigation experience.

HB Ventures hires Selander as new CFO

HB Ventures has hired Jeff Selander as its new chief financial officer. He will handle strategic finance, banking and administrative support for the firm.
Selander brings over 15 years experience in venture finance and financial analysis/financial forecasting to the position.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, Boston, Mass.

Hanson hired at Zions in commercial R.E. loans

Zions Bank has hired Marie Hanson as a commercial real estate loan officer based in the Boise office located at 202 N. Ninth St.
She is responsible for generating and servicing commercial real estate loans and developing lending relationships, with a primary focus on residential builders.
Hanson, a Boise native, began her banking career 39 years ago. Most recently, she was a reverse loan specialist at Wells Fargo. Last year, she received the National Association of Home Builders Associate of the Year Award. She is involved in the community as a member of National Association of Home Builders, the Idaho Building Contractors Association and the Building Contractors Association of Southwest Idaho.

Northwest engineering firm adds Harris in Boise

Murray, Smith & Associates, a Pacific Northwest consulting engineering firm specializing in public infrastructure engineering, has added a new engineer, LaDonne Harris, to its staff in Boise.
Harris has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Rowan University in New Jersey and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and politics/economics from the College of Idaho. At MSA, she will be involved in a wide range of water, wastewater and stormwater planning and design projects.

Hawley Troxell attorneys named in ‘Best Lawyers’

Hawley Troxell announced that Best Lawyers has named 14 of the firm’s attorneys in its 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Holland & Hart lawyers make 2011 ‘Best’ list

Seven attorneys at the law firm of Holland & Hart have been named to the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers. Those recognized were Steve Anderson, Walt Bithell, Murray Feldman, Fred Mack, Bill Myers, Larry Prince and Newal Squyres.
