Top Obama administration officials and industry leaders are discussing a new report calling for increased support to kickstart the nuclear energy industry in the U.S.

The report — by the Energy Department’s Idaho National Laboratory and the centrist-Democratic group Third Way — urges Congress to increase money for loan guarantees for nuclear power plant construction. It says the federal government should support nuclear research and development and help export U.S. nuclear designs. And it suggests that new agencies could be enlisted, such as the Commerce and State Departments, to help the nuclear industry compete with foreign industries.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu and White House energy adviser Carol Browner were among those participating in Tuesday’s session.

    Hello everyone..

Well this is my first ever post on the internet.
Have been glued to this website for the past 2 days. Had got myself registered long back but never had the time or knew the value of the data available on this website.
Couple of days back i had some free time, so i logged in to check this website and that’s it, i haven moved out since then.
I have been crazy about moving machines from childhood days, so its naturally inevitable that i enjoy every single post and bet my contributions will be worth reading.
It is usually a great feeling to have just one like minded person in a new crowd you enter, but here it is truly unbelievable to have soo many people under the forum discussing awesome stuff.
Missed soo much of time. Tracing back here from its start and updating my knowledge on it…
Lots to read and catch up, lots to post. Lemme get started..

Take care, Dean from i get money website!

When the Titanic hit an iceberg, it only had enough lifeboats for one-third of its passengers. Tamarack Resort’s creditors have a similar problem; there are not enough lifeboats. The “lifeboat” for a troubled loan is collateral. It is the most likely repayment source. A lender can foreclose and sell collateral when a borrower cannot pay [...]

Bipartisan support for immigration reform has been growing in Congress, and legislation has been introduced that will go a long way to bettering the lives of many immigrants and rationalizing U.S. labor market policies. In spite of a wide range of support, this important effort now faces a stumbling block. Idaho Republican Rep. Raul Labrador [...]
