Sinnard earns special real estate designation

Carolyn Sinnard of Happy Dog Realty has been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors. Real estate professionals who have earned the ABR designation are required to complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.

Sinnard who is the owner/broker of Happy Dog Realty has been a realtor since 2006, specializing in residential and multi-family property sales in the Treasure Valley.

Thiry joins Keller Williams Realty Boise

Denise Thiry a real estate sales professional, has moved to Keller Williams Realty Boise Market Center.

Thiry has an extensive background in new construction, on-site marketing, and luxury resale homes and has been in the real estate industry for 17 years.

Windermere’s Boise office adds new associate

Windermere Real Estate / Richard B. Smith Inc. has added associate broker Ed Sperry to its Boise office.

Sperry, who holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation, previously worked for Prudential Real Estate in Salt Lake City.

Don Miller joins Knipe Land Co.

Don Miller has joined Knipe Land Co., a nearly 70-year-old, Idaho-based real estate firm.

Miller was first licensed to sell real estate in Idaho over 39 years ago and has served as the broker of D.E. Miller and Associates. He has worked on many land transactions throughout his career. He has extensive knowledge in dealing in land conservation, conservation easements, timber, minerals, water rights, land use, land development, farming and ranching.

CTA Architects Engineers hires Reines

CTA Architects Engineers has hired Jack L. Reines to join the staff in its Boise office. Reines is a mechanical engineer in training.

He holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Boise State University. In his spare time, he volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Burling takes job with Principal Financial Group

Tim Burling has joined the Principal Financial Group in its Northwest Business Center in Boise. He will serve as an investment adviser. Burling has been working with small businesses since 2004 and, most recently, worked with American Prudential Capital Inc. as an independent broker.

He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute – Pamplin College of Business. He graduated magna cum laude in 2000 with a focus in management sciences. He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. He is the founder of the business networking group, InBoise-Pay It Forward.

ZGA builds its architectural team

ZGA Architects & Planners has added the following employees to its staff: Ricci Myers, Kristy Jenkins and Neil Piispanen.

Myers has joined ZGA as an intern architect and will assist in the design, production and construction administration of ZGA’s medical, educational and military projects. She has a broad range of experience with architectural 3D modeling software. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor.

Piispanen is a registered architect and LEED Accredited Professional. Prior to joining ZGA, he was a project architect/manager for eight years with the SRG Partnership in Seattle, where he was responsible for a full range of architectural services in the development of civic and higher education projects.

Jenkins is a Boise native and the newest member of ZGA’s administrative team. Prior to joining the firm, she was the office manager/administrative assistant for a local accounting firm. As ZGA’s administrative assistant, she provides support to the principals and staff members, and assistance to the marketing director with promotion/marketing functions.
