Default filings down by a third in Ada, Canyon (access required)

  Default filings in Ada and Canyon counties will likely fall well short of 2010 levels, according to the Idaho Data Providers report on November data. The filings, which start the foreclosure process, are down 34 percent.  Ada County saw 228 default filings in November, down from 260 in October. This year’s monthly average is 265.
