Meuleman Mollerup attorneys noted as ‘best’

The publication Best Lawyers in America has chosen Boise attorneys Wayne Meuleman, Kimbal L. Gowland and Geoffrey J. McConnell, partners in the law firm Meuleman Mollerup LLP, for their accomplishments in the fields of construction law and real estate law. Meuleman was honored with the additional designation of Idaho’s 2012 Lawyer of the Year in Litigation and Construction.

Meuleman was recognized for his expertise in construction law, Gowland for real estate law, and McConnell for his expertise in construction litigation and government contracts.

Boise Tastefully Simple consultant earns promotion

Katie Tunca, a Boise resident and independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., is now a team leader with the national direct seller of “easy-to-prepare” foods.

Tunca earned the promotion through sales achievements and by adding new consultants to the team. The promotion entitles her to a variety of benefits, such as commissions, bonuses, allowances and more.

Brianna Hansen joins TOK brokerage team

Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate has added Brianna Hansen to its retail brokerage team. Hansen joined Thornton Oliver Keller in August after she was selected to participate in the company’s brokerage training program. Mentored by the company’s retail brokerage team, she assists clients with landlord and tenant representation, including property tours, competition studies and lease negotiations.

Hansen graduated cum laude from the College of Idaho with a B.A. in business administration with a marketing concentration.

Zions Bank hires Hoge in Caldwell

Zions Bank has hired Shauna Hoge as vice president and commercial relationship manager at its Caldwell office, located at 509 S. Kimball. Hoge brings 35 years of experience to Zions Bank. She previously was a vice president and commercial lender at Intermountain Community Bank in Caldwell, as well as a commercial lender with Washington Mutual.

Active in the Canyon County business community, she is a member of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce.

Tim Toy to manage IF Mountain America branch

Credit union Mountain America recently appointed Tim Toy as branch manager of its new Idaho Falls branch.

Toy has been with Mountain America for over four years, working within the company in different locations. Mountain America Credit Union has 67 branches in five states and offers a variety of financial services for consumers and businesses.

Zaudke to lead credit union’s Chubbuck unit

Mountain America has appointed Christy Zaudke to serve as branch manager of its new Chubbuck branch.

She has over 12 years of retail and financial management experience.

Ewing joins PacificSource as chief medical officer

Tom Ewing, M.D., will join PacificSource Health Plans as executive vice president and chief medical officer on Feb. 27, 2012. In this expanded role, Ewing will be responsible for all activities and services that impact the health and health care of members, as well as all partnerships and relationships with providers. Steve Marks, M.D., the current CMO, will retire from the company in June of 2012.

Since 2007, Ewing served as chief medical officer for a company called PeaceHealth, with offices in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. He has held a variety of clinical leadership roles within PeaceHealth since 1998. He is a board certified family physician.

New officers named for Federation of Families

The Idaho Federation of Familes for Children’s Mental Health selected Stephen Graci as the new executive director of the organization during its quarterly board meeting Dec. 2.

Graci is the former executive director of the Vermont Advocacy Network, that state’s protection and advocacy organization for institutionalized people with mental illness diagnosis. He replaces Courtney Santillan who is now serving as a site manager at the St. Luke’s Children’s Specialty Center in Boise.

Board members also approved the appointment of Barbara Harkins of Middleton to the board. She is a former family support specialist with IFFCMH. Frederick Kirn of Idaho Falls, one of the founding members of the organization and a lifetime board member, was elected president; Kathy Garrett of Meridian was elected vice president; and Rick Huber of Rupert was named secretary. Jesse Leib of Boise remains treasurer of the organization.
