Christian Wuthrich is named BSU dean of students

Christian Wuthrich has been appointed dean of students at Boise State University’s division of student affairs. He will begin work in early August.

Wuthrich has more than 20 years of experience in the field. He most recently served as associate dean of students at Washington State University, where he was responsible for overseeing the department of residence life, the center for fraternity and sorority life, the academic integrity program and the office of student standards and accountability. Before that, he served as associate director of student conduct. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at WSU.

Before he worked at WSU, Wuthrich worked in the office of the dean of students at the University of Idaho as director of campus and Greek life programs and alcohol and drug prevention educator. He  serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Student Affairs Research.

Wuthrich earned his bachelor of science and master of science in secondary education from U of I. He earned his Ph.D. in higher education administration from WSU.
