CSHQA welcomes three employees

Will Chivers

CSHQA in Boise has hired three new employees.

Will Chivers is a structural engineer-in-training. He previously worked as an engineering technician at Boise National Forest, where he was involved with sanitary surveys for drinking water systems and performed topographical and line surveys for roads. He earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Boise State University and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in 2012. He participated in the ASCE Steel Bridge Design Competition in 2011 and designed a manufacturing facility as team leader for his senior design project.

Collin Hill

Collin Hill is an archive system support clerk. He previously worked at Ennis Fine Furniture in Boise and co-owner of Hill Brothers Construction in Pocatello. He earned his Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Idaho in 2011. He is pursuing his Master of Architecture from U of I in Boise, with an expected graduation date of 2013. He was president of the Idaho State University Architecture Club in 2008-09.

Jake Salinas

Jake Salinas is an architectural student intern. He previously worked as a research assistant for the U of I Integrated Design Lab and as a sales associate at Oconik Custom Eyewear and Apparel in Boise. He also has experience in construction. Salinas earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from U of I in 2011 and is pursuing his Master of Architecture. He was an ICMA Student Design Competition finalist in 2010 for his fire station project. He has served as treasurer and president of the U of I chapter of the National Association of Home Builders.
