United Way hires manager, administrator

Kelly Parker

The United Way of Treasure Valley has hired a relationship and development manager and an office administrator.

Kelly Parker works as relationship and development manager. She assists in the development, design, implementation and evaluation of fundraising strategies. She previously worked at Bank of the Cascades for seven years, and has also worked as a loaned executive at United Way of Treasure Valley. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in management and decision sciences from Washington State University in 2002.

Betsy Appelgren

Betsy Appelgren works as office administrator. She is responsible for coordinating office operations and procedures. Appelgren most recently worked as an account manager at ITG Division of Corporate Technologies in Boise for two years. She has experience in marketing, advertising, public relations and project management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration from Northern Arizona University.
