A contractor artificially inflated costs to increase its profit margin while installing geothermal systems for Blaine County School District, according to an internal email circulated by contractor employees. McKinstry Essention, a full-service contractor hired to design, install and maintain geothermal heating and cooling systems in eight schools, was sued in a bitter lawsuit with the district. ...
