Plummer money manager accused of fraud with more than $11 million in client funds (access required)

The Idaho State Department of Finance has filed a civil lawsuit against mortgage broker and fund manager Stephen Howell, alleging he used investor funds in a series of self-serving deals that netted him a home, cash and a Wyoming resort. Howell, who lives in Plummer, managed more than $20 million of investor money in different funds. ...
