Idaho builders obtain most residential permits since 2008 (access required)

Idaho builders obtained more residential building permits in 2012 than they have in any year since 2008, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The state follows a nationwide trend reported by the Associated Press that put U.S. residential building permits at a 4.5-year high, according to information released Dec. 17 by the Commerce Department.
