Intermountain Gas promotes three employees

Scott Madison

Three Intermountain Gas employees have earned promotions.

Scott Madison is executive vice president and general manager of Intermountain Gas and Cascade Natural Gas Corporation. He fills the position vacated by Frank Morehouse, now president and CEO of MDU Resources Group’s utility division, which includes Intermountain and Cascade.

Madison has been with the company since 1997, most recently working as vice president, regulatory, chief accounting officer, assistant secretary and assistant treasurer for Intermountain and Cascade. Before that, he worked for Arthur Andersen for 10 years. He is a certified public accountant, chairman of the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau of the Snake River Region and state treasurer for Idaho Ducks Unlimited. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Idaho.

Mark Chiles

Mark Chiles is vice president and controller for Intermountain and Cascade, responsible for accounting and finance. He has been with the company since 1992, most recently working as manager of accounting and finance.

Chiles is a board member and treasurer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County. He is a certified public accountant and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Boise State University.

Michelle Harris

Michelle Harris is manager of accounting and finance for Intermountain. She has been with the company since 2004, most recently working as corporate tax manager and manager of accounting systems. She previously worked for KPMG.

Harris is a Salvation Army advisory board member and a certified public accountant. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana.
