Big Brothers Big Sisters hires new CEO

Jason Sears has joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho as its new CEO. Sears fills the position vacated by Nora Carpenter, who accepted a position as CEO of the United Way of the Treasure Valley.

Sears has more than 10 years of mentorship experience in the Treasure Valley. He previously worked as director of visitor services at the Discovery Center of Idaho, and has worked in director-level positions at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County. He also worked as a communications and technology volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in Namibia.
