“Ethics in a Digital Age” is the title of a Better Business Bureau panel discussion set from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 28 at Boise Centre, Ninth and Front streets.
Businesses have embraced social networking Web sites to build relationships with customers, market products and track customer satisfaction, but the sites can pose a threat to the reputation of a business if they are misused, a Better Business Bureau flyer on the free event said. Panelists are expected to cover personal responsibility and risk reduction in social networking.
Scheduled participants are moderator Dale Dixon, CEO and president of the Better Business Bureau’s southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon chapter; Karen Meyer, who owns Handyman Connection; UltraClean owner Brandon Wright, Make-A-Wish Idaho Chapter President and CEO Torene Bonner; Kris Miller, business development manager of the Idaho Business League; and Sarah Stevens, human resources consultant with AmeriBen/IEC Group.
