The Boise Young Professionals announced a new leadership team of volunteers to guide the efforts of the organization.
Brett Adler will chair the BYP leadership team in 2010. Adler is the founder of Boise Rec Fest, a large-scale recreation themed festival planned for the summer of 2010. He has over 15 years experience in project management, business administration, event planning, fundraising, sales, marketing, media relations and volunteer recruitment. He is also an active member of the Boise community and serves on the board of directors for Idaho Smart Growth.
“I look forward to helping BYP raise awareness of the many programs available to professionals throughout the valley,” said Adler. “BYP has provided its members access to events featuring a wide variety of civic and business leaders, including Mayor Dave Bieter, Gov. Otter, former governor Cecil Andrus, Heathwise CEO Don Kemper, former Albertsons CEO Gary Michael, Idaho Supreme Court Justice Linda Copple Trout and many more.”
