The College of Idaho has hired Erika Noebel as its new director of foundation and corporate relations. Noebel joins the Office of Development, where she will write grants and perform research to help the college secure funding from grants, foundations, corporations and other sources.
Noebel comes to Caldwell from the University of Arizona, where she raised funds and stewarded several research programs. She also has served as a tribal grant writer to the Acoma Pueblo of New Mexico and has held development positions at Williams College in Massachusetts, The National Latino Alliance to Eliminate Domestic Violence and the New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Noebel received her bachelor’s degree in contemporary European studies from Smith College in Massachusetts and has studied in several European countries. She is nearing completion of a master’s degree in nonprofit and NGO (non-governmental organization) development.
