E. Idaho company announces plans to hire workers

BLACKFOOT – Officials with Blackfoot-based Premier Technology in eastern Idaho say the company will add more than 70 new positions to meet increasing demand for construction, engineering and manufacturing management services.

Premier Technology is a construction management company with clients that include the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Defense.

Officials with the company say the new jobs will include high-paying positions such as project managers and mechanical engineers.

The new hires will boost the company’s number of employees from 326 to 400.

Dan Cravens of the Idaho Department of Labor tells the Idaho State Journal that the high-paying, good quality jobs are exactly what the state needs.
