Decision about Tamarack’s future could happen Monday

A decision on whether Tamarack should continue with Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, or move to Chapter 7 proceedings which would allow a trustee to liquidate it, could come as early as Dec. 13.

U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Judge Terry Myers heard two days of testimony Dec. 6 and 7 in Boise; much of it from Tamarack owner Jean-Pierre Boespflug.

Boise general contractor Scott Hedrick who is owed payment for townhouses that were built at the resort before construction was halted in 2009, attended both days of testimony. He said the judge has taken the case under advisement.

“Jean-Pierre tried to provide evidence that there are potential buyers and the resort is more valuable as a whole, rather than sold off in pieces,” Hedrick said.
