Concordia University officials say the library at their new law school complex in Boise will be named after an Idaho businessman who donated $1 million toward the project.
The Portland-based university announced the gift from George White and his wife, Geri, in a statement Jan. 3. White is president of the Boise-based wood products manufacturing company, National Bark Sales.
The university is remodeling a two-story building in downtown Boise that will become the “George R. White Law Library” and building a three-story addition to house classrooms and offices.
Completion of the project is expected later this year.
