Heather Brust has been named the new associate vice president for university advancement at Boise State University. She assumed her duties in December.
In her new position, Brust oversees key development staff, including college development directors, the annual fund, donor services and corporate and foundation relations. Brust also directs Boise State’s comprehensive fundraising campaigns, and works as a liaison between the Boise State Foundation, Bronco Athletic Association and volunteer boards.
Brust came to Boise State as director of donor relations in October 2008 from Texas Christian University, where she was director of development for the Neeley School of Business.
Prior to TCU, Brust worked in development for the University of Texas at Arlington, Washington State University in Pullman and the University of Idaho in Moscow. Brust began her development career with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Portland, Ore.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University.
