Karianne Fallow, former senior manager of public affairs and government relations at Wal-Mart, has joined Red Sky Public Relations. Fallow will lead the public affairs and environmental sustainability practice at Red Sky.
During her time at Wal-Mart, Fallow was responsible for legislative and regulatory issues, political development and reputation management at the state and local levels in several Western states. Most recently, she served on a National Strategy Team designed to develop strategic, comprehensive and cross-functional campaigns to grow market share.
Fallow joined Wal-Mart in January 2006 after six years at Albertsons, where she managed government affairs and did media relations and internal communications. She was responsible for developing and managing state and federal government affairs programs for the company.
“Having Karianne join our team further bolsters the comprehensive capabilities we can offer our clients here in Idaho and across the nation,” said Steph Worrell, Red Sky co-founder. “We are increasingly called upon to act as true business counselors – from marketing strategy to internal communication, public affairs to community engagement – and Karianne’s experience from working with one of the world’s largest retailers is invaluable.”
O’Dwyer PR Daily recently recognized Red Sky as the sixth fastest growing independent public relations agency in the nation.
