The third annual Idaho Startup Weekend will take place June 24-26 at Stevens-Henagar College in Boise. Startup Weekend is an event that has taken place in a variety of cities throughout the world, starting in 2007 with the idea to provide current and aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to find out if their startup ideas are viable.
Over 54 hours, participants build, perfect and pitch their big ideas.
The event is open to anyone regardless of the stage of planning their startup is in. More than 27,000 entrepreneurs have participated in one of the 325 events that have taken place around the world in the past five years, according to a release.
To participate, sign up at Idaho.startupweekend.org/tickets.
Event sponsorship opportunities are available, including a $250 general sponsorship, $500 food sponsorship, and a $250 in-kind donation sponsorship for participant gifts.
Knowledgeable businessmen and women are also welcome to participate as judges. To fill out a form, go to http://idaho.startupweekend.org/judge/.
