Rankin, Hackney change jobs at Controller’s office

Idaho State Controller Donna Jones has appointed Darla Rankin to the position of principal accountant for the State Controller’s Office. Rankin, a certified public accountant, formally served as administrator over the office’s Division of Statewide Accounting. In her new role she will primarily oversee all accounting functions across the agency’s four divisions, and represent the State of Idaho in working with national accounting regulatory agencies. Additionally, she will join the office’s Special Investigation Unit.

In a corresponding move, Jones appointed Meridith Hackney to serve as administrator over the Division of Statewide Accounting. Hackney, a certified government finance manager, previously served as bureau chief over Accounting Systems Administration. In her new role she will manage the operation of Idaho’s statewide accounting system, implement statewide accounting standards, and generate all state payment warrants.

Hollingshead, Roberts join Northwest Title

Tiffany Hollingshead has joined Northwest Title Co. as an escrow assistant. She brings with her over 16 years of experience on the title and escrow side of the business.

Tauni Roberts has joined the company as its Idaho operations manager. She is a graduate of Boise State University and brings with her over 20 years of title and escrow experience in the Treasure Valley.

Paul Davis Restoration adds Guarino to staff

Diana Guarino has been hired by Paul Davis Restoration for the position of administrative assistant. Guarino has a well-rounded background in office administration and customer service. She has served in this capacity during much of her work history.

She will be responsible for receiving and processing all in-coming phone calls, originating new property damage losses and dispatching personnel, providing support to the administration manager and other related office support functions.

Fosha, Bright joins Keller Williams Realty

Amy Fosha, a real estate sales professionals in Boise, has joined the Keller Williams Realty Boise Market Center.

She has an extensive background in business management and has been involved in real estate investments and property management for the last two years.

Also joining the firm is real estate sales professional Wayne Bright. His background is in the mortgage and finance industry; he has been in the real estate industry for eight years.

Barrera joins firm’s immigration practice

Attorney John C. Barrera has joined Angstman Johnson as an associate to lead the firm’s separate immigration practice, Achieve Immigration.

Prior to joining Angstman Johnson, Barrera was an attorney with Labrador Law Offices. Angstman Johnson acquired Congressman Raul Labrador’s (R-Idaho) immigration practice in December 2010.

Barrera brings to the firm his experience in dealing with matters involving family- and employment-based visas, as well as other legal matters related to immigration.

J-U-B expands in Treasure Valley

J-U-B Engineers has added staff in the Treasure Valley area as follows:

J.D. Heithoff joined J-U-B to expand its airport planning and engineering expertise. He has more than 20 years of professional engineering experience, the last 10 years in the aviation field. His airport experience includes leading the design and construction phases of runway, taxiway, and apron reconstruction and rehabilitation projects.

Ryan Cosby transferred from J-U-B’s Orem, Utah office to lead its southern Idaho geographic information systems coordination and mapping efforts. He began working at J-U-B’s subsidiary company, Gateway Mapping, in 2007. Over the last four years, he has gained experience with presentation mapping, python scripting, GIS analysis, GPS data collection, and GIS data creation.

W. Scott Wonders and Dean Cardwell have joined J-U-B’s Land Development Group. Wonders is a land development engineer and project manager with 18 years of experience. He is the engineering lead for regional land development projects. Cardwell is an engineering designer with 15 years of design experience. He recently graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Michael Byrnes joins the company with 20 years of experience in land development and construction surveying throughout Idaho. His expertise includes records of survey, subdivisions, topographic surveys, cadastral surveys, legal descriptions, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, elevation certificates, mining claims, and large-scale, multi-phase development projects.

Century West adds to newly opened Cd’A office

Century West Engineering has added Ken Nichols to its newly opened Coeur d’Alene office.

Nichols is currently licensed as a professional engineer in Idaho and Washington and holds a certificate issued by the National Council of Examiners for engineering and surveying. He brings with him more than 20 years experience with airport planning, engineering and construction administration, as well as civil infrastructure projects. His experience also includes working as a consultant with the City of Boise.

Rasmussens hired at Keller Williams in Boise

Emma and Clyde Rasmussen have joined Keller Williams Realty Boise. Both are certified negotiation experts, certified short sale professionals and have completed the Graduate Realtor’s Institute program and have their green designations.

The Rasmussens have an extensive background in real estate, property management, sales and consulting. They are longtime residents of the Treasure Valley.

Kuborn named marketing director of Philharmonic

Earlier this summer, Jimsi Kuborn joined the Boise Philharmonic as its new marketing director. The Philharmonic is currently marking its 50th anniversary season.

Kuborn is responsible for planning, supervising, administering and evaluating marketing programs and ensuring that they meet or exceed attendance and ticket revenue goals for each of the Philharmonic’s programs and events. She is also responsible for maximizing the visibility of the orchestra and managing the Boise Philharmonic brand.

She will plan and manage all marketing activities, including public relations, advertising, season subscription and renewal campaigns, all ticket sales, customer service, audience research and merchandising, if any.
