Davies appointed to Ada County Historic Preservation Council

David R. Davies, AIA a senior project manager with CSHQA, a design collaboration has been appointed to the Ada County Historic Preservation Council. His three year term will begin April 1, 2012.

Dave joined the firm in 2006 and became an associate stockholder in 2008. He has been involved with a variety of CSHQA projects including the Idaho State Capitol Expansion and Renovation in Boise, Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home, and the Mulvaney Medical Office Building and Tenant Improvements in Boise.

Dave owned and operated his own architectural firm for fifteen years before joining CSHQA. As a seasoned architect, he has been involved with over 600 projects of various types including: health care, assisted living, educational, and religious facilities, located throughout the United States. He is involved with all aspects of a project, from the initial thumbnail sketch to the myriad of construction details.

Dave earned his Bachelors of Architecture Degree from the University of Idaho in 1985. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and a member of the Roman Catholic Diocesan Building Commission.  CSHQA is a progressive architecture and engineering firm with teams that continue to work in harmony with owners to create better-built environments and spaces. CSHQA is headquartered in Boise with regional offices in Denver; West Sacramento, Calif.; Phoenix; and Roseburg Area, Ore.
