Boise State University has named Suzan Kardong-Edgren the Jody DeMeyer endowed chair at BSU’s School of Nursing. The College of Health Sciences will use her expertise in health care simulation to enhance its Simulation Center.
Kardong-Edgren previously worked as an assistant professor at Washington State University at Spokane. She was inducted as an Academy of Nursing Education Fellow in 2010 and has received the Deborah Spunt Endowed Lectureship in Simulation for the National League for Nursing twice. She is on the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning Standards Oversight Board and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare Oversight Committee. She is the editor in chief of Elsevier’s Clinical Simulation in Nursing Journal.
