Boise attorney appointed to national committee

The American Immigration Lawyers Association has appointed Maria E. Andrade, principal attorney for Andrade Legal in Boise, to serve on AILA’s national liaison committee for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement bureau of the Department of Homeland Security.

The committee meets with ICE leadership in Washington, D.C., twice a year to address issues raised by AILA members and facilitate communication between ICE and immigration attorneys. Andrade will lead the committee on issues related to immigration investigations of employers conducted by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations division. She will also be the point of contact for AILA members at large and in Washington, Oregon and Canada.
