GeoEngineers hires groundwater expert

GeoEngineers in Boise has hired Craig Horne as a principal hydrogeologist. In this position, Horne will provide hydrogeology and environmental assessment and remediation services.

Horne has more than 25 years of experience assessing groundwater resources and designing and developing groundwater programs. He also has experience characterizing regional aquifers, managing deep well drilling programs, conducting remedial investigations and modeling contaminant transport. He most recently served a 13-month tour with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan, where he identified groundwater resources and oversaw the drilling program developing  the water supply to military bases.

Horne earned his Bachelor of Science in geology and his Master of Science in watershed science from Utah State University. He is a member of the National Groundwater Association.
