Idahoan Foods, a producer of packaged mashed potatoes and potato casseroles based in Idaho Falls, has promoted Drew Facer to president and chief operating officer.
This promotion puts into motion a succession plan led by CEO Gordon Lewis, who will retire from the company in September 2013. The company’s Board of Governors has acknowledged Facer will assume Lewis’ position as president and CEO in October 2013.
Facer has worked for Idahoan Foods since January 1998, starting as director of foodservice marketing. In 2010, he was promoted to executive vice president, retail.
Facer earned his degree in marketing and social behavior at Idaho State University, and completed post-graduate studies at the Kellogg School of Management.
