Project Update: Saint Alphonsus Meridian Sleep Center

Saint Alphonsus Health System should occupy its new sleep disorders clinic in Meridian in early 2013. The 2,256-square-foot facility is located on the second floor of a building in the hospital network’s Meridian Health Plaza.

When completed, the sleep lab will have four bedrooms and bathrooms for treatment, as well as additional space for nutrition storage and a waiting area. Work being done by EKC Construction includes specialty window shades for darkening the rooms and other features that make this project somewhat more complex than an average tenant improvement.

Project manager Doug Karcher said the project is on schedule, with acoustical grid set to be installed in early to mid-November, followed by floors, doors and final touch-ups.
