The Idaho Farm Bureau Federation presented its Friend of Agriculture award to Idaho state Senators Curt McKenzie, R-Nampa; Patti Anne Lodge, R-Huston; Gayle Batt, R-Wilder; Bob Schaefer, R-Nampa; and Gary Collins, R-Nampa, in recognition of their support of Farm Bureau policies and Idaho agriculture.
The award recognizes legislators who have supported positions taken by Idaho Farm Bureau members on matters involving agriculture, natural resources, taxes and other issues. Legislators must have a voting record at least 88 percent in accordance with Farm Bureau positions on bills during two legislative sessions in order to qualify for the award.
