The Idaho State Bar recognized several legal professionals for their work during the Fourth District Bar Association Resolution Meeting Nov. 2 in Boise.
United States Judge Mikel H. Williams, of Boise, earned the bar’s Professionalism Award in recognition of his dedication and commitment to the profession, as well as his work on the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers.
Idaho Attorney General Lawrence G. Wasden, of Boise, also earned the Professionalism Award, in recognition of his professionalism, integrity and work on behalf of everyday people. He is also active in numerous national organizations and has served as past president of the National Association of Attorneys General.
The bar also recognized four Boise attorneys for their pro bono work, helping people who cannot afford legal services. The Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award was presented to Robert M. Meek, of Boise Inc.; Gary G. Allen, a partner at Givens Pursley, LLP; Keely E. Duke, of Duke, Scanlan & Hall PLLC; and Susan M. Moss, of Banducci Woodward Schwartzman PLLC.
