Laura Colvin, editor of the Kuna Melba News, is stepping down to spend more time with her grandchildren.
Colvin joined the paper as a reporter in January 2012. She took over as editor June 1 after previous editor Scott McIntosh stepped down in May.
In a column published Dec. 5, Colvin said she will be moving close to Detroit, near her grandchildren. She will remain editor at the paper until a replacement is hired.
