Agrium, a supplier of agricultural products and services, has appointed Erika Stoner manager of its Conda phosphate mining operation near Soda Springs. Stoner replaces Mick McCullough, who has been promoted to senior director of environmental health, safety and security for Agrium’s wholesale division.
In her new position, Stoner is responsible for mining operations related to the Conda facility and for permitting new mines. McCullough is responsible for all aspects of environmental health, safety and security for Agrium’s facilities in North America, South America and Europe. He will remain in the Soda Springs office.
Stoner previously worked as superintendent of mine engineering at one of Agrium’s facilities in Canada. She has more than a decade of mining experience in areas such as underground mine geology, underground rock mechanics, mineral processing test work and mine planning.
