Better Business Bureau Snake River names board members

The Better Business Bureau Snake River has named a new chairman and board members.

Steve White, of Berkeley, Inc., will replace Intermountain Gas Vice President Scott Madison as chairman of the board. White is chief financial officer at Berkeley, a Boise-based registered investment adviser. He is an honors graduate in finance from University of Georgia and a chartered financial analyst charter holder. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. White has 19 years of experience in the industry, including investment management, investment banking and finance consulting. He has been with Berkeley since 2003.

Other board members include chairman-elect Ted Sermon, of Sermon Service & Electric in Idaho Falls; vice chairwoman Joan Stephens, of Stronghold Remodeling in Boise; vice chairman Ken Carroll, of C2 Consulting in Boise; secretary Matt Porter, of Cornerstone Financial in Idaho Falls; member at-large Julie Armes, of Premier Insurance in Boise; Damond Watkins, of Melaleuca in Idaho Falls; and past chairman Madison, of Boise.
