Johnson has been president and CEO of United Heritage Mutual Holding Company in Meridian since 2001. He has also worked as president and CEO of United Heritage Life Insurance Company and United Heritage Financial Group since 1999. He was president and CEO of United Heritage Financial Services, a broker-dealer, from 1994 to 1998. He began working as general counsel for Grange Mutual (now United Heritage) in 1983. Before that, he worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Ada County.
Johnson has also been a trustee of the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho from 1995 to 2005 and a board member of Idaho Banking Company from 1996 to 2003.
Johnson also holds directorships in United Heritage Mutual Holding Co., United Heritage Financial Group, United Heritage Life Insurance Co. and Sublimity Insurance Company.
Johnson earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude with a double major in history and social science with an economics emphasis from Northwest Nazarene University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law. He is a member of the Idaho Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Idaho and the U.S. Supreme Court.
