Idaho Statesman President and Publisher Mike Jung has taken the reins as chairman of the board of directors for the United Way of Treasure Valley. He fills the position vacated by Ada County Sheriff Gary Raney, as he has completed his two-year term as chairman.
Clark Baumgartner and Scott Randolph have joined the board. Wayne Rancourt, Jenifer Dellgard, Kerrie Quinn, Jack Myers and Peggy Jones have left the board.
Jung has been a member of the board since April 2012. He formerly worked as publisher of the Santa Cruz (Calif.) Sentinel. He earned his degree from San Jose State University.
Baumgartner is director of human resources for D&B Supply. He has more than 15 years of HR experience. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Boise State University and his Master of Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University.
Randolph is a partner in the Boise office of Holland & Hart. He represents clients in complex business disputes and employment litigation across a broad range of industries. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas-Austin.
