Nampa Police Sgt. Chris Rowe retires after 22 years

Chris RoweNampa Police Department Sgt. Chris Rowe is retiring after 22 years with the department.

Rowe, originally from Gloucestershire, England, began working for the Nampa PD in 1991 as a police reserve officer. In 1994 he became a full-time officer with the department. Before that, he was a field intelligence communication officer with the British Government Communication Headquarters and a wireless operator specialist with British Military Intelligence.

During his career with the Nampa PD, he worked patrol, started the Nampa Crime Lab, instituted the Crime Scene Investigator program, and taught basic and advanced crime scenes for Police Officer Standards and Training. He has been the Special Investigations Unit sergeant for the past four years.
