Idaho Falls names Parks & Rec superintendent

PJ HolmPaul “PJ” Holm Jr. has been named superintendent of recreation for the City of Idaho Falls’ Division of Parks & Recreation.

In this role, Holm will oversee the Recreation Department, which includes the Recreation Center, the Wes Deist Aquatic Center, the Joe Marmo/Wayne Lehto Ice Arena, various youth and adult programs, and special events.

Holm most recently worked for the Idaho Falls Family YMCA. He started as a day camp counselor in 2004 and worked his way up to senior program director, with responsibilities including budgeting, planning, program supervision and establishing community relationships.

Holm earned his bachelor’s degree in recreation management with a minor in business and tourism from University of Idaho in 2007.
