Sarah Reed has joined the law firm of Hawley Troxell in Boise as an associate attorney in the banking and real estate groups. She has been working for the firm as a contract attorney since June and joined the firm Oct. 1.
Reed has experience in real estate transactions and management, including leases, restrictive covenants and easements, and the resolution of property management issues. She previously worked at Fiore, Racobs & Powers in Irvine, Calif., for five years.
Reed is a member of the business and corporate law section and the real property section of the Idaho State Bar. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from California State University-Long Beach in 2001. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2005 from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she was a member of the North Dakota Law Review from 2003 to 2004 and editor of student articles from 2004 to 2005.
